Loved light breakfasts.
Came in Lead to relax and have fun, this old-fashioned hotel was superb base for doing it. Coffee, tea, pastries, and fruit provided in the morning. The venue had incredible location right by the library of the former Town Hall and the surrounding attractions.

Unique and quaint hotel in a pretty comfortable area really close to an awesome hike as well as the previous Town Hall of Lead. Reasonably large room provided with huge windows, a/c, antique furniture. Great service and the food is great. Fantastic location at a moderate distance from Homestake Gold Mine.

We had a really nice stay for 2 nights.
Everything was great from the staff to the room, exceptionally comfortable bed and generous-sized room. The breakfast food, especially coffee, tea, pastries, and fruit was great. It was in a central location, in the Black hills. We could drink something at Boar's Nest, located 1 mi away.

We loved the historical charm and modern convenience of this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was great as it was close to ski resorts and across the street from a gold mine. The size of the rooms and the cleanliness of the hotel facilities were outstanding.
Can't think of anything! This hotel exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it.

Enjoyed my stay overall. The complimentary coffee in the morning was excellent and the comfortable bed helped me recharge for the day ahead. Conveniently located close to many parks and points of interest made it easy to explore the area without spending too much time in the car.
The breakfast options were limited and not particularly satisfying. parking was a little challenging, with only on-street parking available during peak hours.

The complimentary cookies and hot chocolate were a nice touch. The location was convenient, being close to the main street and local shops. The room was cozy and warm.
The room was small and cramped. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat.
